The common options are outdoor porcelain (thick slabs, consistent and easy to clean), natural stone (warm look, needs sealing and some care) and interlock pavers (practical for driveways and paths, easy to repair). Each one needs the right base: correct slopes so water runs away from the house and the pool, expansion joints, and adhesive or bedding suited to outdoor use.
Tiling often ties a project together: the pool coping and deck, the step from the living room to the terrace, the path to the pergola or BBQ. We plan levels and drainage with the rest of the garden so everything joins cleanly.

Which outdoor tiles stay coolest in the Dubai sun?
Lighter colours and some natural stones stay noticeably cooler than dark tiles. We show you samples and talk about where you walk barefoot, especially around the pool.
Are outdoor tiles slippery around the pool?
They should not be: tiles around a pool must have a suitable slip-resistance rating. In wet areas we only propose tiles rated for that use.
Can new tiles be laid over my old terrace in DAMAC Hills 2?
Sometimes, if the old surface is sound and flat and the added height does not cause problems at doors and drains. Often it is better to remove it. We check at the visit.
Porcelain, stone or interlock?
